Office Mission:

Midtown Dental Studio started over 40 years ago serving the wonderful community of Plantation. Although our name has changed, the values from doctor to doctor have not. At Midtown Dental Studio, we want to change the dental experience from the moment you call the office to the check up call after your procedure. We strive to be cutting edge and to give patients the best dentistry has to offer; all while maintaining a small business atmosphere by making a commitment to staying family owned and operated. Karina

Practice Optimizer

Karina's journey in dentistry began with a strong foundation in dental hygiene, graduating from Miami Dade College's Dental Hygiene program in 2016 and earning her Bachelor's in Dental Hygiene from St. Petersburg College in 2020. Her passion for every aspect of dentistry and commitment to continuous learning have led her to her current role as Practice Optimizer at Midtown Dental Studio.
With experience across multiple departments, Karina thrives on improving practice efficiency, enhancing patient experiences, and supporting team growth. She believes that a well-optimized practice leads to better patient care, seamless workflows, and a more cohesive team environment.
A strong advocate for patient education, Karina continues to emphasize the importance of personalized care and informed decision-making. Her dedication extends beyond the office as a part-time clinical instructor at Broward College, where she mentors the next generation of dental hygienists. 
Outside of work, Karina enjoys spending quality time with her husband and her dachshunds, engaging in outdoor activities, and attending church on Sundays.

Vivian

Patient Concierge

Vivian has been in the dental field for over 20 years. She takes great pride in what she does and loves helping and interacting with our wonderful patients. She is grateful to be part of the amazing team at Midtown Dental Studio. When Vivian isn't at the office, she loves spending time with her big, beautiful family!

Cheryl

Patient Concierge

Cheryl was raised in South Florida and has been in the dental profession for over 20 years. She enjoys interacting with our patients. Cheryl is very knowledgeable with dental insurance and enjoys helping our patients understand how their insurance works. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, traveling, or relaxing by the pool or at the beach.

Stephanie

Treatment Coordinator

Stephanie graduated in 2015 from Broward College as a certified dental assistant. Now excited to take on a new role as a treatment coordinator. She feels that the prettiest thing you can wear is your smile and that is what prompted her to enter the dental field. Born up north, but raised down south, she considers herself a real Floridian! Loves spending time with her husband and boys. She is a bubbly animal lover that is passionate about her career.

Cameron

Dental Assistant

Cameron, a true son of the South from Georgia, represents the warmth of southern hospitality. His journey into the dental field spans just over a year, yet his fascination with dentistry traces back to his childhood. As a youngster, he found purpose in assisting his younger brother with nightly teeth brushing, instilling in him an early understanding of the significance of dental health. This early exposure ignited a passion that continues to fuel Cameron's aspirations. Eager to further his knowledge and skills, he aims to pursue dental school in the near future. Under the mentorship of esteemed professionals like Dr. Amador and Dr. Kerr,Cameron seeks to expand his knowledge, drawing inspiration from their leadership and expertise. Cameron finds solace in scenic drives down alligator alley, reminiscent of the rural landscapes he cherishes. These moments serve as a retreat, allowing him to reconnect with the serene beauty of the countryside.

Nancy

Dental Assistant

With over 17 years dedicated to the dental field, Nancy is a passionate professional who approaches patient care with a deeply personal touch. Her commitment extends beyond the routine treatments, as she empathetically attends to her patients' needs, ensuring they feel as comfortable as she would wish to feel in the dental chair herself. Nancy finds immense joy in witnessing the remarkable transformations in her patients' smiles. Being an integral part of a committed team that constantly strives for excellence, professionalism, and delivering top-notch treatments brings her immense fulfillment. Beyond her professional endeavors, Nancy prioritizes self-care and cherishes moments outdoors during her spare time. Her unwavering dedication to dentistry, coupled with her compassionate approach to patient care, defines Nancy's unwritten commitment to making each dental visit a positive and comforting experience.
