How Does It Work?

CEREC® works by utilizing a computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology. Your dentist will capture 3D images of your mouth so the computer software can generate the design of the crown or implant for your affected tooth.

Since it’s done while you’re still sitting in your dentist’s chair, it saves time for both you and the dentist! This milling machine will generate the product needed to restore your tooth and allow the procedure to be completed on the same day.
